Pope Joan's new director is Sönke Wortmann.
Franka Potente will play Pope Joan. Franka
is German born and has appeared in a variety of movies in the US and
around the world. Learn more about her

New Cover Design Created for Pope Joan
(December 2005)
Ballantine Books,
publisher of Pope Joan has created a new cover for
the book which began to appear on bookshelves beginning
in December 2005.
Some booksellers will
continue to sell the books using the old cover until their
stock of those copies is depleted. Regardless of which
cover you find, the magnificent story is still the same!

It is being produced by Constantine Films. Director: Academy Award Winning Volker Schlondorff. Principal photography to begin in 2006.
